A'Jewel bravely reached out to us while facing the harsh reality of living on the streets, and engaging in survival activities that no one should ever have to endure. Recognizing her determination and desire for change, we provided her with a temporary stay where she could prioritize self-care, attend job interviews, and lay the groundwork for a brighter future.
By the grace of God, A'Jewel secured a fantastic job opportunity. We were overjoyed to then transition her into permanent housing, by partnering with First Presbyterian Church in Livermore, providing the stability and safety she needed to thrive.
A'Jewel's journey is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of compassion and support.
